These are the tallest buildings in Los Angeles, California. All of these buildings are at least 725 feet in height and all of the buildings on this list are in the top 100 tallest buildings in the United States. The tallest building in Los Angeles is the 10th tallest building in the United States and was built to withstand an 8.3 magnitude earthquake. All of these building are located in downtown LA near the city's best hotels and restaurants.
1) U.S. Bank Tower - 1,018 feet
The U.S. Bank Tower is located at 633 West 5th Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, California. At 1,018 feet in height the U.S. Bank Tower is the 10th tallest building in the United States and 43rd tallest building in the world and the tallest building in the world with a rooftop helicopter landing pad. The U.S. Bank Tower was built from 1987-1990, has 73 floors and is also called the Library Tower because the city of Los Angeles sold the air rights to the developers of the tower to pay for a rebuilding of the library nearby.
2) Aon Center - 858 feet
Located at 707 Wilshire Boulevard the 858 foot high Aon Center is the 2nd tallest building in Los Angeles, the 31 tallest building in the United States and 115th tallest building in the world. Built from 1972-1973 the 62 floor Aon Center suffered a severe fire in 1988 that destroyed 5 floors and cost $50 million dollars in damages. The building was repaired and is close to the best hotels and restaurants in LA near Wilshire Boulevard.
3) Two California Plaza - 750
Located at 350 South Grand Avenue the Tow California Plaza building was built from 1990-1992 and contains floors. At a height of 750 feet Two California Plaza is the 3rd tallest building in Los Angeles. The California Plaza is home to the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art or MOCA and the Omni Hotel.
4) Gas Company Tower - 749 feet

The Gas Company Tower is located at 555 West 5th Street in Los Angeles and is home to the Southern California Gas Company. Built from 1988 to 1991 the Gas Company Tower has 52 floors and at 749 feet height is the 4th tallest building in the city and 77th tallest building in the United States.
5) Bank of America Center - 735 feet

The Bank of America Center or Bank of America Plaza is located at 333 South Hope and has 55 floors. Built from 1973 to 1975 the Bank of America Center or Plaza is the 5th tallest building in the city but has the highest assessed value of any building in LA County.
6) 777 Tower - 725 feet
The 777 Tower is located at 777 South Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles and has 52 floors. Built from 1988 to 1991 the 777 Tower has a modern sleek design and a 3 story Italian Marble Lobby.
