Seaworld Orlandos Attractions and Shows
If you are looking to spice up your family’s vacation, try SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. SeaWorld Orlando offers an exclusive opportunity to take a guided tour with back-door access to rides; selected mammal feed opportunities and reserved seating for upcoming park shows.
Their Adventure Express Tour includes opportunities to feed the stingrays at their Stingray Lagoon attraction. Plus guests can feed the sea lions and harbor seals at their Pacific Point Preserve attraction. And who wouldn't want to have a breath taking experience feeding the dolphins at the Dolphin Cove attraction. Visitors can go behind the scenes to touch a penguin.
For a more relaxed approach, reserved seating is available at either the Key West Splash Fest or the Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island show.
With this tour, guests will get a backdoor entrance to park rides, including Kraken, the parks’ floorless roller coaster as well as the Journey to Atlantis water-coaster thrill ride and the Wild Arctic simulator. Knowledgeable guides experts will be available to escort tour guests through the various park attractions and to answer any questions.
For those guests who like to live life on the edge, then this ultimate tour cannot end without a visit to Kraken, which is considered the “crown jewel” of the Express Tour. This roller coaster is considered the first of its kind in the Southeast. It’s best described as the “floorless” coaster. Kraken’s seats are open-sided and ride on a pedestal, high above the track at speeds of up to 65 mph. Rider’s feet dangle and no coaster car surrounds them as they twist and turn throughout the ride.
The Adventure Express Tour lasts about 6 hours. There are separate fees for both adults and children in addition to park admission.
In addition to the express tour, the park also offers various calendar events throughout the year. Some of these events include but are not limited to Rockin’ Summer Nights, held at the end of May through the beginning of September. This event is like a blast from the past, featuring hits from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. Fireworks and a laser light show will cap off each evening.
To celebrate our nation’s independence, SeaWorld’s Sounds of Freedom Independence Day celebration held June 30th through July 4th sounds off with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra rousing sounds of freedom, while a dazzling fireworks display in the background illuminates the sky. The celebration concludes with a spectacular Shamu nighttime show and also showcases the park’s red, white and blue-lighted sky tower, which is considered one of the tallest patriotic landmarks in our country.
This park adventure would not be complete without a look at the extremely popular “Trainer for the Day” program which allows 3 guests per day to experience the thrill of assisting SeaWorld’s animal trainers. From training techniques to food preparation, participants learn first-hand how these animal trainers care and train their animals. This program lasts all day, so comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing should be worn.
Reservations for the guided tour and other park attractions can be made inside the park’s entrance or by calling the park’s admissions office.
