Charles Martin House

Located at 1300 Mount Curve is the Renaissance Revival style Charles Martin House. Built in 1903 by architect William Channing Whitney for wealthy businessman Charles J. Martin the Charles Martin House is a well preserved private residence today.

Gale Mansion

Located at 2115 Stevens Avenue South in the Mansion District of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the Italian Renaissance style Gale Mansion. Built in 1912 by attorney Edward Chanary Gale and his wife Sara Bell Pillsbury the Gale Mansion today is available for weddings, parties and special events and is a great place to have a wedding reception. Though the Gale Mansion is not a hotel there are plenty of fine hotels located nearby in Minneapolis.

Hinkle-Murphy House

Located at 619 South 10th Street in the Elliot Park area of Minneapolis is the Colonial Revival style Hinkle-Murphy House. Built in 1886 by architect William Channing Whitney as a home for wealthy businessman William H. Hinkle the Hinkle-Murphy House was eventually purchased by millionaire William J. Murphy and hence the name. In recent times the Hinkle-Murphy House was for rent and for sale. One would hope someone might by this beautiful home and turn it into a tourist attraction of bed anfd breakfast hotel and wedding site.

Longfellow House

The Longfellow House is located at 4800 South Minnehaha Park Dr. in Minneapolis. Built in 1906 for Robert Fish Jones the Longfellow House is a 2/3 scale replica home of the original Longfellow's Home located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Today Longfellow House is home to the Minneapolis Park System's interpretative and information center and is open to the public.

Harrington Mansion

Located at 2540 Park Avenue South in Minneapolis, Minnesota is the Italian Renaissance architectural style Harrington Mansion. Built in in the 1890's by millionaire businessman Charles M. Harrington the Harrington Mansion today is home to the Minneapolis Zuhrah Shrine Center and is available to be rented out for weddings, parties and special occasions. The Harrington Mansion is not a hotel but is located near some of the best hotels in Minneapolis.

Semple House

Built in the 1890's as a home for millionaires Frank and Anne Semple today the Semple House Mansion is available for weddings, parties and special events and is a popular choice due to the Grand Palladium Ballroom inside. Semple House is just blocks away from many of the finest hotels in Minneapolis.

Blaisdell Manor
