Finallyyyyyyyyy!!!!! After a year living in miami I finally found a good NY style pizza. We just ate there and thrilled that we found "the place" to eat pizza. Our waiter was super friendly even with my kids you don't see that a lot. The place looks nice and clean. Highly recommended...

Pros: Nice place, clean and good food!!!

Yes, yes, yes, Those people are right, best NY style pizza in Pembroke Pines and Miramar, and the food is just awsome, You know when you are in a real Italian restaurant when you hear a old man louder than everybody else inside the kitchen.

Best of everything is the price and the zeppoles.

Char Hut of Pembroke Pines

12221 Taft St Pembroke Pines, FL 33026

Char Hut is a small franchise chain with five locations, all in Florida. It is a great alternative to fast food burger places. One of the stresses of going to a restaurant with a baby is just being able to settle in so everyone can enjoy the meal and this relaxed alternative to big chain burgers is just the place to do it. The menu includes salads and platters that provide a healthy alternative to fried fast food.

Prices are reasonable and menu items start at under $5.00. One enthusiastic patron wrote:

The best hamburgers, hot dogs, tuna steak sandwiches in town. The fries are crisp and not greasy. Whenever we are in town we go there. The only thing we miss about Broward County is Char-Hut. A WINNER!

Champion of Cheap - Mini-chain restaurant known for its 1/3 pound Char-Burger serves a variety of hamburgers and hot dogs at affordable prices.

Big Tomato Market Grill

If you want something more upscale than pizza or burgers and fries try the Big Tomato Market Grill. The food is world class, the atmosphere is relaxed American, and the Brunch is not to be missed. Everyone raves about their omelet station. It is hard to find quality food in a restaurant that also is baby friendly, but as they put it themselves: “If you want Italian, we'll give you Italian and treat you like family!”

What people are saying:

Went there today for the first time. The brunch was great, we had a fantastic server, Jennifer. She was very bubbly and pleasant. She talked to us about their Thursday night wine tasting and daily happy hour. She made our experience very enjoyable!

The food for brunch was great, constantly being refreshed - nice and hot. They have an omelet station where they make them fresh for you and how you want it. The boy that was there today was great and made one of the best omelet I've ever had.

Had our Christmas party catered by Big Tomato. It was awesome. Jason was the caterer that came and set everything up. You can tell he was a real pro. Everyone was amazed by the spread and I was happy with the overall outcome. Looks like we found a place for our Xmas dinner every year.

Great down-to-earth restaurant for the whole family

One of our favorite places in the Miramar/Pembroke Pines area. Food is great, service is always friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable.

Pros: Food, service, price

Cons: In a strip mall...can't think of any other "cons"
