1) Hilton New York - 1,980 rooms for rent
The largest hotel in New York City is the Hilton New York with 1,980 hotel rooms for rent. Hilton New York is located at 6th Avenue and 53rd Street on the northwest edge of Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan. When the President of the United States visits New York he usually stays at the Hilton New York. The world's first cell phone call was made in 1974 to a Hilton New York guest.
2) New York Marriott Marquis - 1,949 rooms
The New York Marriott Marquis was opened in 1985 and is located at 1535 Broadway in Manhattan and has 1,949 rooms which ranks it as the second largest hotel in New York City. As one of the newer hotels in the city the Marriott Marquis is one of the most high tech hotels in NYC and has a revolving rooftop restaurant called The View which is 45 stories high.
